L’insegnante (AKA The School Teacher) is a film inspired by Malizia, albeit in a totally different setting, and is among the progenitors of a strand of Italian-style sexy comedy set in school environments. To make up for Alfredo’s shortcomings in school, the family hires a teacher (Edwige Fenech) to give him private lessons. He falls madly in love with her and tries to seduce her in every way, even faking suicide.
