A Gothic cathedral was built on a mass grave. Clearly, all those corpses curse the church, and centuries later the ghosts of the slaughter are trying to bring a scary demon back to life.
La Chiesa is a decent Italian horror film, directed by Michele Soavi in 1989, with a story by Dario Argento.
The film is also interesting because it gives us a couple of very rare nudes by Barbara Cupisti, an actress who has barely undressed in her film career.
