Four punk friends from Abruzzo, all named Antò (short for Antonio), are dissatisfied with their provincial lives. One of them flees to Bologna and then to Amsterdam. Another receives a fake call to arms during the Gulf War and runs away not knowing it is a joke. The families search for them through a well-known TV program dealing with missing persons. The other two Antós are invited on the program and expose the local power system.
