Emma (Ana Girardot) is a French woman who moves to Berlin and decides to spend time in a brothel to meet prostitutes and write a book about the world of paid sex. Emma becomes one of them and stays in the brothel for two years, although she only intended to stay for a few weeks.
The film begins with a close-up of Ana Girardot‘s face. When the camera pans away we can see that a man is fucking the actress from behind. She is wearing a transparent bra. A minute later Ana is sitting topless in a bed and smoking a cigarette. Next to her is a man sleeping. Five minutes later the actress straddles a man who pulls down her dress to free her breasts. Two minutes later Ana Girardot has sex with several guys in a montage of various sequences. In some she is wearing a bra and in others she is topless. Fifteen minutes later, Carole Weyers, Irma Pany, Nikita Bellucci, and Loriane Klupsch parade in transparent lingerie for a client of the brothel, who chooses Irma. Soon after, Ana Girardot walks totally naked down a hallway in the film’s last nude scene.
