In 17th-century Italy, the king of Piedmont falls in love with Joan of Luynes (Valeria Golino), a married woman. She does not succumb to the regent’s flattery, and the regent, sick with love, begins to neglect his kingdom and his subjects. Everyone pressures Joan to give herself to the king. Even her husband pushes her into the arms of the ruler. She, finally, for the good of the realm accepts.
Valeria Golino, young and beautiful, gives us some very intriguing nude scenes. Even full-frontal nudity.
