Irena (Kseniya Rappoport), a Ukrainian woman who has been living in Italy for years, gets a job as a cleaning lady in a small town in the North. She convinces a doorman to help her get close to a family of goldsmiths. Her real goal, however, is to keep a close eye on them.
At the beginning of the movie, Kseniya Rappoport and other actresses parade in front of a man wearing only panties and a bra. When the others leave, Ksenia takes off her underwear and remains totally naked, except for a white mask on her face. This sequence could be interpreted as having been performed by a body double.
