Merveilleuse Angélique is the second chapter of the successful Angelique saga, taken from the novels of Anne and Serge Golon. The first chapter is Angélique, marquise des anges. There are five films made in the 60s in France and there are not many nude scenes. Michèle Mercier, who plays Angelique, manages to excite us even in the chaste scenes of these films. Naked on the bed (or rather, lying on a man lying in bed) or naked after a hot bath.
