The long title of the film is Metalmeccanico e parrucchiera in un turbine di sesso e di politica (The Blue Collar Worker and the Hairdresser in a Whirl of Sex and Politics). A factory worker falls in love with a hairdresser with political views diametrically opposed to his own. He’s politically involved, criticizing her, but he can’t resist her charms.
