Nefertiti, figlia del sole follows the theory that Nefertiti was a princess of the Mitanni people, sent in marriage to Pharaoh Amenhotep III, and then taken as a wife by Akhenaten. It begins with an archaeological expedition in 1912. The discovery of a bust of Nefertiti takes us back in time in a long flashback to her story.
