Randy, an unlucky bartender, saves a seductive woman named Jewel (Liv Tyler) from an attack, but discovers that she and her jealous accomplice Utah have set him up to be robbed. After Jewel kills Utah, she moves in with Randy and pushes him to commit thefts to furnish her “perfect home.” Meanwhile, Randy’s cousin and a detective involved in the investigation both start to lose their heads over her.
