Oscar promises a dying prisoner that he will avenge him by killing the sadistic guard who tortured him, in exchange for information about a hidden treasure. Upon his release from prison, he tracks down the now disabled guard, but is seduced by his charming wife Rose (Joan Severance). Their growing attraction complicates his plans for revenge.
