Psycho, from 1960, is the most famous film by the great director Alfred Hitchcock. In 1998 Gus Van Sant made a remake of it that frankly fails to compete with the original. The remake almost completely follows the original plot and even the shots are similar. The differences are in small details, like the historical period, shifted from 1960 to 1998. And there are also more explicit details, like Norman Bates masturbating while he spies Marion.
The famous shower sequence features the sensual Anne Heche, who gives us a couple of very interesting nudes in this film.
