Federico Landi Porrini, a theater director, organizes a play based on Romeo and Juliet in Spoleto. Vittoria Mengoni (Pilar Fogliati), an aspiring actress, disguises herself as a man to get the role of Romeo after being humiliated at casting. Between love entanglements and secrets, the film leads us to an interesting ending.
