Cornelia (Chiara Muti) is a Venetian countess, pregnant with an illegitimate child. She’s imprisoned at home while waiting to give birth, together with her servant Rosa (Stefania Rocca). After an initial fight, the two women become close friends and share their days until the melancholy ending.
Chiara Muti wears a transparent robe for almost the entire film. In a beautiful sequence, she and Stefania Rocca take off their wet clothes after a downpour and show us their perfect boobs.
