District Attorney Ford Cole is running for mayor to catch the city’s crime boss, Danny Ludin. During an interview with a national reporter, Cole is interrupted by the news that his best assistant prosecutor (Jolene Blalock), who is also his lover, has killed a man she claims assaulted her.
