Sveta obitelj (AKA The Holy Family) is a film set in 1960s Croatia. It tells the story of Janja (Luna Pilić), a Bosnian laborer who marries Iva, son of a wealthy landowner. The marriage, arranged by Iva’s father, generates family tensions. Despite Janja’s attempts to get closer to her husband, the situation worsens, bringing shameful family secrets to light.
