Detective Robin Griffin (Elisabeth Moss) returns to her hometown in New Zealand to visit her sick mother, but becomes involved in the case of a missing pregnant teenager. Her investigation leads her into a world of violence, secrets, and illegal trafficking. While searching for the truth, she must also come to terms with her own past traumas.
