Tristesse et beauté

Directed By: Joy Fleury

Nudometer:
Hugo is a writer whose only major book is based on an affair with Lea (Charlotte Rampling), a sculptor. Years later, in search of inspiration, he attempts to reconnect with her, but is rebuffed. Her pupil Prudence (Myriem Roussel) has a deep contempt for the man who abandoned her mentor.
During the opening credits Charlotte Rampling nude is massaging herself in front of the mirror. The image is blurred, but we can still appreciate the actress’ beauty. In the 36th minute Charlotte Rampling stirs in her sleep. Myriem Roussel enters the bedroom and leans over Charlotte, then caresses her chest. Her breasts come out of her unbuttoned pajamas. At the forty-seventh minute Myriem Roussel totally naked is sitting at the mirror and powdering her body in a long sequence. In the following scene Myriem has sex in bed with a man. She stands over him, who lowers her dress to reveal her beautiful breasts. In the 57th minute we admire Charlotte Rampling naked in the bathtub for a few seconds. Four minutes later Charlotte Rampling and Myriem Roussel are sitting on the edge of the tub. Myriem pulls down her bathrobe and remains topless. Charlotte, behind her, shaves her armpits with a razor, then massages her breasts. If you are expecting a lesbian scene you will be sadly disappointed. In the 81st minute Myriem Roussel has sex in bed with a man in the last nude scene of the film.
