Lucy Jacobs (Olivia Holt), a first-year college student, returns to her hometown for Thanksgiving, fearing that her high school boyfriend wants to break up with her. To avoid the classic “turkey drop,” she decides to step out of her comfort zone and show how much she has changed. Between surprises and new realizations, Lucy tries to prove that she is no longer the insecure girl she once was.
