Vanilla Sky is the US remake of the Spanish film Abre los ojos by Alejandro Amenábar. In both versions, the female lead is played by Penélope Cruz, who reprises the same character. The film follows the story of David Aames, a successful young New York publisher whose life is turned upside down by a car accident that leaves him disfigured and mentally confused. Between dreams, hallucinations, and distorted memories, David tries to piece together the truth about himself and the mystery surrounding the woman he loves.

At the 77-minute mark, we see Penélope Cruz naked in a sex scene in bed with a man. At the eighty-third minute, Cameron Diaz, in a slip, caresses a man in bed, surprising him in his sleep, so much so that he wakes up with a start and jumps out of bed. During the scene, a strap slips down and, as she rolls over, one of her breasts briefly slips out of her slip. At the ninety-fifth minute, Penélope Cruz and a man are having sex in bed, but at one point he looks down and realizes that the woman is actually Cameron Diaz.
