In Viva Erotica (Sik ching nam lui), a director in crisis agrees, at the urging of his pragmatic girlfriend (Karen Mok), to direct a low-budget porn film. But between producers who are uninterested in his “artistic vision” and a reluctant lead actress (Shu Qi), the project proves more complicated than expected. Shooting a porn film, he discovers, is not easy at all.
