With Il fiore delle mille e una notte (Arabian Nights), Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini closes his Trilogy of Life, which began a couple of years earlier with Il Decameron (The Decameron) and continued with I racconti di Canterbury (The Canterbury Tales). After Italy and England, the narrative shifts to the East. As in the previous chapters, the film consists of several stories told.
