I racconti di Canterbury (The Canterbury Tales) is the second chapter of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Trilogy of Life. As in the previous film, we see a series of stories. A group of pilgrims are on their way to pay homage to the Archbishop of Canterbury. To pass the time, the pilgrims tell each other stories, which become the episodes of the film. The trilogy ends two years later with Il fiore delle mille e una notte (Arabian Nights).
In the tenth minute Josephine Chaplin is kneeling on the ground to arrange something in a straw basket. A little boy lifts her skirt and she shows her ass to the onlookers. In the fifteenth minute Josephine is totally naked, lying on a bed and a man is above her, admiring her naked body and singing a song. In the following scene, Elisabetta Genovese and a guy are walking in a garden, both naked. At the twentieth minute Josephine Chaplin walks away from the bed, on which her old husband is sleeping, and sits at a desk. At the sixty-fourth minute Jenny Runacre and a guy are lying in bed and taking each other’s clothes off. A little later, they are both naked and chatting. Someone calls Jenny from the window. She gets out of bed and goes to the window, presenting her ass to the caller, then goes back to bed to have sex with the guy. At the sixty-eighth minute, the two are still naked in bed. The guy gets up to pee in an iron bucket. At minute 82 two guys on horseback see two round naked asses sticking out of a window. They belong to Eileen King and Heather Johnson, who play mother and daughter. At minute 92 Heather Johnson gets out of bed and shows us a nice full-frontal nude.
