The success of Basic Instinct pushed the film industry to exploit the genre and to make other similar movies. A year later, Body of Evidence reached the cinemas. This time the weapon used to kill is the human body, as the protagonist is accused of killing her lover by fucking him to death. In 1992 the best crime weapon must be Madonna. Critics did not appreciate the movie, but the fans ran to the cinema to watch one of the world’s most famous singers while performing in many erotic sequences. The film also features one of the best sex scenes with Julianne Moore.
