Director Erwin C. Dietrich makes a film about prositution in high society. The police are trying to defeat a racket operating throughout Europe, but the mission seems impossible. To make matters worse, one of the prostitutes is a policeman’s wife. Champagner für Zimmer 17 (AKA Secrets of a Vice Cop’s Wife AKA Gatta pericolosa) is not a particularly compelling film, but all our interest is in the late Tamara Baroni, a beautiful Italian model and actress who was much photographed in the 1970s.
In the seventh minute Tamara Baroni hugs a man. He returns the hug and lowers the zipper of her dress, on her back. The dress falls to the floor and the actress remains totally naked, then slips into bed waiting for the man. About ten minutes later we witness a similar scene. Tamara is wearing the same dress, but this time she removes it herself. Nine minutes later we watch Tamara Baroni naked as she takes a shower, then covers herself with a towel. Fourteen minutes later Renate Larsen takes off her fur coat and is totally naked underneath. In bed there is a man waiting for her. Five minutes later Renate is wearing a red bathrobe, which she takes off almost immediately and shows us her beautiful naked body. The actress walks around the house naked, then lights a cigarette. Three minutes later Uschi Moser nude dances in a private erotic ballet. Four minutes later the actress performs a similar dance, but in a nightclub. In the next scene Tamara Baroni walks around the house naked, answers a phone call, then lies on the bed. The actress gives us one last nude scene six minutes later, on the beach. Tamara takes off her dress in front of a man and lies on the beach, ready for sex.
