Baccello returns from the Crusades, eager to find his wife Ubalda (Cinzia Roccaforte), whom he had made wear a chastity belt. He is unaware that shehas removed it with the help of the blacksmith Capoccione and turned to prostitution. Also, on his way home, Baccello lost the key to the belt when a prostitute (Ramona Badescu) stole his saddlebag. Discovering his wife’s infidelity, he takes Capoccione to court, but Ubalda surprisingly defends the blacksmith. The story becomes complicated when Capoccione’s wife (Angela Cavagna) appears and we discover that the prostitute is actually a princess.
Twenty-four years after the release of the cult movie Quel gran pezzo della Ubalda tutta nuda e tutto calda, the same director Mariano Laurenti decides to make a remake. Chiavi in mano, starring mainly Italian TV actors from the 1990, is rather far away from the decamerotics of the 1970s, but still offers some funny jokes and very nice nude actresses.
