Des lendemains qui chantent is a coming-of-age story that takes place between the 1980s and 1990s in France. A generation is told through the lives of four main characters.
In the seventh minute Laetitia Casta woke up in the back of a van, buried under a pile of election posters. Laetitia emerges from the paper mountain in semi-transparent lingerie and moves into the driver’s cab, next to a guy. Shortly afterwards, we watch Laetitia Casta naked for a few seconds as she belly flops onto a bed. Forty-four minutes later Laetitia enters the kitchen and finds Daphne Hesnard topless, drinking tea. As the two talk, Alix Bénézech enters the room, also topless. Shortly afterwards Laetitia meets another topless actress: Julie Chevallier. Two minutes later Rozenn Djonkovitch surprises a group of people queuing to enter a club by taking off her coat and remaining topless and pantied. Thirty-three minutes later Noémie Merlant walks into a room and takes off the red dress she is wearing, remaining topless and thong. Unfortunately we only see her from the back.
