Ten years have passed since the events recounted in the last season of Dexter. Everyone thinks he is dead, but he is alive and has moved to the small town of Iron Lake in upstate New York. He has a new name and leads a quiet life. He works in a gun store and is in a relationship with the town’s police chief. Everything seems to be going great, but serial killers cannot simply retire, and soon the past comes to visit.
