Jane Morton, a Dublin psychiatrist dealing with a serious loss, is sent to a remote village to evaluate Dorothy, a teenager accused of assault. In a dark and hostile environment, Jane suspects mental illness, but everything changes when Dorothy starts talking in the voice of the psychiatrist’s dead son. What seemed clinical turns into something much more disturbing.
