A Florentine professor has a love affair with a former student. When she breaks up with him, he enters a major crisis. He tries to pursue her throughout the film and tries to console himself in the arms of other women, but the lost love devastates him. The film stars two beautiful Italian actresses, Ornella Muti and Monica Guerritore.
