A British Consulate detective stumbles upon a disturbed serial killer during a routine assignment. Psychologically fragile due to the abandonment of his wife and son, the detective develops an obsession with the woman, who leaves victims in several American cities. Abandoning his job, he begins secretly following her, forming a twisted bond based on their family traumas.
In the thirteenth minute Ashley Judd naked is standing on a pier, covered in blood. It is nighttime and there is a thunderstorm. The rain washes the red liquid off the actress’s body, framed from the back. In the HD version of the film, this scene has been cut. The original version is slightly longer and we can see the outline of Ashley’s breasts and a full-frontal nude framed from a distance. Eleven minutes later, the actress soaks in the bathtub in a short sequence. Three minutes later, Ashley Judd welcomes a man into her room wearing lingerie and white thigh-high stockings.
