Set in 1980s Los Angeles, GLOW follows Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie), an unemployed actress who finds an unlikely opportunity by joining an all-female wrestling program. Under the guidance of cynical director Sam Sylvia, she and other women learn to turn their fragility into spectacle. Amidst flamboyant costumes and real rivalries, a group destined to become a television legend is born.
At the fifth minute of the first episode, Alison Brie makes her nude debut by taking off her tights in a dressing room.
