Hammer (2025)

The music video for Hammer, the third single from singer Lorde‘s album Virgin, was directed by Renell Medrano and shot in the picturesque setting of Hampstead Heath in London. The result is an intimate yet evocative portrait, in which Lorde appears in a series of sequences that blur the line between grace and physical freedom.
At the beginning of the video, Lorde is singing in a bikini in the middle of a meadow. Shortly after, we see her lying in a hammock, totally naked. As she moves, she shows her nipples and butt. In another scene, Lorde swims in a lake wearing a white tank top that has been made transparent by the water. In short clips, we see Lorde sitting on the hood of a moving car wearing a white tank top, black stockings, and suspenders.
