Horizon: An American Saga is a series of four epic western films directed, co-written and starring by Kevin Costner. The plot, set in pre- and post-Civil War America, follows fictional characters as they explore the American West. The films span twelve years, showing the experiences of various pioneers as they venture into new territory.
