Il racconto dei racconti – Tale of Tales is a 2015 fantasy film directed by Matteo Garrone, inspired by three 17th-century fairy tales by Giambattista Basile. Set in imaginary kingdoms, it interweaves the stories of a queen obsessed with motherhood, a princess betrothed to an ogre, and two elderly sisters involved in a love deception.
