Il senso della vertigine

Directed By: Paolo Bologna

Nudometer:
Il senso della vertigine is a rare Italian film made by director Paolo Bologna. Shot in the summer of 1988 with a small crew and many outdoor scenes, the film is inspired by American detective stories and Italian literature. It explores the life of Giacomo, a former provincial soccer player whose humdrum existence is disrupted by an encounter with Sara (Rosella Testa), a suspect in the murder of her husband. The film, set in a lakeside landscape, blends elements of the detective story with a deep analysis of provincial life, seen as a metaphysical dimension of existence.
At the twenty-fourth minute Rosella Testa is lying naked on a bed. A guy brings his head close to her breast. The two discuss their relationship. We see Rosella Testa naked again twenty-three minutes later, immersed in the waters of a pond at night. Along with her is a man. Seven minutes later, Rosella enters the bedroom as she is removing her underwear. She shows us a full-frontal nude, then slips under the covers.
