James Joyce’s Women

Directed By: Michael Pearce

Nudometer:
James Joyce’s Women is a drama film made in 1983 but released in the United States in 1985. The film is produced by and stars Fionnula Flanagan, who plays the wife of writer James Joyce, as well as some of the women in his life and fictional women in the writer’s novels. The film was never released on DVD and VHS copies are very difficult to find. It is a very erotic film, although eroticism is not always associated with nudity. There are, however, a couple of extremely hot sequences with Fionnula Flanagan naked.
Around the fiftieth minute there is the most interesting scene. In a very long sequence Fionnula Flanagan lies in bed with her dressing gown open and gives us a beautiful full-frontal nude, with a very hairy 80s bush. The woman talks and puts her hand between her legs, simulating masturbation.
