A woman lives in a large villa in the Sicilian countryside, despairing over the sudden death of her son. One day, a girl (Lou de Laâge) rings her doorbell, saying she’s her late son’s girlfriend. He invited her for the Easter vacation. The woman doesn’t have the courage to tell her the sad news, so they remain in the villa waiting for a guy who will never come. A brief sequence in the film shows Lou de Laâge naked.
