La bella e la bestia (The Beauty and the Beast) is an episodic film from 1977, directed by Luigi Russo. In the various episodes, the more extreme sides of sex are explored, from nymphomania to masochism. The director gets around vulgarities and manages to propose delicate sequences despite the themes dealt with.
It’s difficult to make preferences among the nude actresses who alternate in the various episodes because they are all beautiful. It begins with Lisbeth Hummel (at the time very famous thanks to the film The Beast), which acts in the first two episodes of the film, it continues with the angelic Brigitte Petronio and ends with the intriguing Franca Gonella, who in this film is credited under the pseudonym Francoise Gerardine.
