La belle saison (AKA Summertime) tells the story of Delphine (Izïa Higelin), who in the early 1970s lives in the countryside with her farmer parents. She decides to move to Paris, to gain her economic independence, and meets Carole (Cécile de France), a woman who is beginning to take an interest in feminist currents. An intense romance begins between the two.
At the eighth minute, Izïa Higelin is standing topless in front of the sink and washing her armpits. Twenty-five minutes later, Cécile de France and Izïa Higelin share a passionate kiss in the street, then enter the house, undress, and have sex. Two minutes later, there is another interesting lesbian scene between the two girls. Later, the two girls are lying in bed completely naked and eating. After the food, Cécile de France smokes a cigarette on the balcony and shows us a beautiful full-frontal nude, then masturbates her partner. Nine minutes later the two women engage in rural sex. They bathe naked in a pond, then lie on the grass, then have sex. More sex comes ten minutes later, in a brief bed scene. Six minutes later, Cécile de France and Izïa Higelin are sleeping naked. In the morning, Cécile de France wakes up and is in bed alone. Two minutes later Cécile is smoking a cigarette. The actress is naked and leaning against a wall. When she puts out the cigarette she gets into bed with Izïa, who is also naked. Thirteen minutes later the two girls are sleeping naked; Delphine’s mother enters the room and catches them embracing. It doesn’t end well.
