Jacques Doillon tells us the story of two lesbian ex-girlfriends. One would like to get the relationship back on track; the other is married to a man. Between hotel rooms and boats on the sea, we are bored by the film’s many dialogues, but we are excited by the lesbian scenes of French actress Jane Birkin and Dutch actress Maruschka Detmers. Very intriguing sequences, culminating in a scene on the bed, with the actresses’ full-frontal nudes entwined with each other.
