La prova d’amore is a rare film from 1974 directed by Tiziano Longo. The story follows Angela (played by Ely Galleani), a young girl student who decides to make love to her guy Gianni, convinced by his promises of true love. However, after giving in to the “love test,” Angela discovers that Gianni has long had a secret relationship with an older woman, played by Adriana Asti. As if that were not enough, Angela also discovers that her mother (Françoise Prévost) is involved in an extramarital affair with her brother-in-law.
