A lawyer defends a man accused of murder and brings home a Pinocchio doll found among the client’s belongings. His daughter Zoe becomes attached to the doll, which seems to come to life and commit violent acts. The lawyer must figure out if the murders are the work of the possessed doll or if it is her daughter who has mental problems.
