Private Duty Nurses

Directed By: George Armitage

Nudometer:
Private Duty Nurses is a 1971 American film written and directed by George Armitage. It is the second in a series of films that began with The Student Nurses, produced by New World Pictures. The idea for the title ironically arose after a letter of complaint received from the Private Duty Nurses Association regarding the first film.
Nurse Spring (Katherine Cannon) cares for gruff Vietnam veteran Domino, who has a plaque in his skull and needs delicate surgery by Dr. McClintock. Meanwhile, Nurse Lynn (Pegi Boucher) fights against water pollution and enters into a relationship with Dewey. A mix of activism, personal relationships, and hospital life against the backdrop of 1970s California.
In the thirteenth minute a man begins undressing Pegi Boucher in a dark, bluishly lit room. She is lying on a bed, but she rises almost immediately and we see her topless, partially illuminated by the blue light. In the thirty-fifth minute Joyce Williams is having sex in bed with a man. Seven minutes later, Katherine Cannon also has sex in bed with a man. After sex, Katherine and the man remain on the bed chatting. She, beautiful, is topless and stroking his hair smiling as he talks. In the 57th minute, Pegi Boucher undresses and gets ready to take a shower, but a man enters the room and throws her on the bed.
