In 1988 a film production company proposed to director Lucio Fulci to supervise some horror films for the television market, under the label “Lucio Fulci Presents”. The films are made, but they are too splatter. They are broadcast on some minor local stations only in the early 1990s, and in 1992 they are released on VHS. The first of these films is Quando Alice ruppe lo specchio (AKA Touch of Death), a very low-budget horror film based all on splatter and irony. A man marries rich, ugly women and then kills them to inherit wealth.
In the role of an ugly wife we find Sacha Darwin, made up with some facial hair. First she has sex, then takes a bath in the bathtub spied on by her husband. There is also a sexy scene by Ria De Simone, here in one of her last appearances.
