Directed By: Anna Biller

Nudometer:
The Love Witch is a 2016 American horror comedy written, edited, directed, produced, and set to music by Anna Biller. The film stars Samantha Robinson as Elaine Parks, a modern-day witch who uses spells and magic to make men fall in love, with disastrous consequences.
Critically acclaimed, the film is a playful homage to the horror films and Technicolor of the 1960s, but also offers a serious reflection on contemporary gender roles. In 2021, Robinson’s performance as Elaine was listed as one of the best film performances of the 21st century by The New Yorker.
In the 25th minute, Samantha Robinson undresses in front of a man sitting on a red couch. He admires her beauty, then stands up, undresses, picks her up, and carries her to the bed for sex. In the 34th minute, the actress walks across a lawn topless, wearing only a pair of panties. She is holding a wicker basket and gathering herbs for a potion. A moment later she is preparing the potion on the kitchen table. In the forty-seventh minute April Showers is performing on stage at a burlesque club. After undressing, she twirls her tits, which have blue pasties. In the fifty-ninth minute Samantha Robinson performs another striptease in front of another man. In the sixty-fourth minute several nude actresses are kneeling in a circle in front of a lit cauldron. Standing before them is Jennifer Ingrum. She is topless, but has pasties on her nipples. The actress is officiating some witch ritual, then everyone stands up and circles around the cauldron. In the ninety-seventh minute Laura Waddell tries on a wig and some sexy pink lingerie.
