Anna (Dawn Olivieri), a fragile and troubled 30-year-old bartender, is planning to end it all. One day she welcomes Sam, the boyfriend of neighbor Rachel, on whom she has a secret crush, into her home. Their closeness restores her hope and confidence, but when Sam returns to Rachel, Anna decides to go ahead with her desperate plan.
