After the events of the first season, Robin Griffin (Elisabeth Moss) moves to Sydney, where she investigates the body of a young Asian woman found in a suitcase. The case leads her into the world of surrogacy and prostitution, reopening emotional wounds and revealing surprising connections. Her investigation soon becomes a personal struggle for redemption.
