Two best friends fall in love with a pair of women, but the relationships soon take very different directions. The film is based on the novel Women in Love by David H. Lawrence. In 1969 the film caused a scandal because of a scene with two naked men fighting each other, but we are more interested in the naked actresses.
In the 40th minute Sharon Gurney nude is crouched behind a rock by a river with a man. The two dive into the water, where Jennie Linden is naked and intent on swimming. Thirty-two minutes later Jennie Linden is rolling naked among flowers with a man. Nine minutes later, Glenda Jackson is sitting on a bed and takes off her shirt, showing a beautiful breast. A man joins her and the two have sex. Twenty-seven minutes later there is another sex scene with Glenda Jackson.
