You Only Live Twice is the fifth installment in the long-running series devoted to James Bond, arguably the world’s most famous secret agent. An American capsule and a Soviet capsule disappear into space during a mission. Americans and Russians blame each other, but a flying object landing in Japan may clear the situation. James Bond investigates along with a Japanese colleague. Sean Connery, who plays Agent 007, says he plans to step down from the role after this last job.
The Bond girl in the film is Japanese actress Akiko Wakabayashi, who is very beautiful but not very naked. We see her in a sexy bikini in a scene from the film. Another bond girl is Mie Hama, who in one scene comes out of the water in a bikini as Ursula Andress and Claudine Auger did before her.
